Have Mercy

Dragon Age

I’m sure some of you can understand new video game fever! You see, I was thinking of asking for Dragon Age: Origins for Christmas. It’s been on my wishlist since… early this year, before it was released. So when I found myself at Best Buy, I asked for it then and there. No waiting for me! I’d waited long enough. I was a huge fan of Neverwinter Nights (NWN2 was okay too) so I was excited to see something similar coming out… only this game is really stunning and interactive (comparatively). It looks really beautiful on my 22″ monitor and I for one like all the dialogue and plot choices I get to make. My hero actually sucks a lot of ass because I had no idea what kind of character to put together. But the rest of my party picks up for my suckiness. Here’s my personal profile if any of you geeks out there care…  and my player profile for the game is here. But yeah, that’s been consuming me and my time. It’s a good time. I haven’t been entertained by much of anything lately so a bit of gaming will do me good. Although I’m having my groceries delivered to me this week… it might not be so great for my social life. Just maybe. Haha.

Anyways, for everyone else who doesn’t really know what I’m talking about, I think the True Life must have aired again. I saw a HUGE spike in traffic. I had no idea! Then I started getting all these emails and I’m like “Huh?” Lol, it’s still so strange. Anyways, hi everyone out there. I’m alive! And I can’t wait for Thanksgiving! It’s my favorite holiday. (Yes really.) Oh and uhh… this factoid will officially make this my most humiliating blog post to date, but I’m kind of excited… about… New Moon. Okay, I didn’t read the books. They’re fucking huge. And I hate seeing a story in more than one ‘media’… whatever I see first (ex: True Blood, Fight Club the movie, etc) I like first. So I’m completely biased towards the movie version of this particular story. It’s true, vampires are hot right now. But you won’t see me waiting in any lines to catch the first screenings of it. I’m gonna wait for the craziness to subside then go see New Moon. Yeah, I’m a complete dork, but there’s just something a lot of people can’t seem to deny about the attractiveness of the story. Maybe it’s the romance or something? Who wouldn’t want a bunch of vicious hotties fighting over you? Eeeek, please forgive me for my obsessions. But they are just SO FUN! Love you all, thanks for visiting!

Enjoy? Let's get cozy over coffee.

  • You are one of the few hot gamer girls out there and we in the gaming community love you for it.

As long you have fun it doesn't matter how you play. At least that is how I play video games or any game really.

I understand wanting to wait to see that movie. The lines for opening weekend are going to be nuts. I'm sure it will still be there thru Christmas or even New Year's Eve.
  • True. I kind of stumble my way through and play nice with everyone in the game so they don't beat me up. I used a similar strategy in high school. It's all just a game anyways right?!

There are too many great video games out this holiday season. I still want to play Dragon Age: Origins, but I still have other games like Borderlands, Assassins Creed 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 to finish. And vampires are still pretty big, but I have seen a larger crowd enjoying zombies as well.

Yes, you're correct in your assumptions, True Life aired again. : )
I saw you on there and thought...I wonder what her website is all about? And uh...here I am. Very lovely, by the way. Kudos to you!
  • Big hype on the Assassins Creed 2 game. But I don't have any xbox or playstation so I'm strictly a PC gamer. Looks well done though from commercials. I do hate around holiday time when tons of games come out and it all looks so interesting. It's overwhelming. I think I'll ask for a Wii this year and join that club a little late. Besides, games make great presents!
